Green Cumin is the fruit of a grass form plant named Cuminum.
Cyminum Linnaeus from Umbelliferae family which is a formed of two
drawn and joined together Mericarps and its dimensions are
changeable according to the origin. The
length of the green Cumin is usually between 3 to 6 and its central
section diameter is 1 to 2 mm. The mericarp’s color changes from
gray to light brown and has 5 thin primary prominent lines with a
